APPREHENSION, Zac story, is the second book in the series, but you meet all the guys in INCANDESCENTLY…
The Incandescent Series is sweet and romantic with a touch of magic and whimsy. Something none of my guys will be immune to. And just like Éolie predicted a long time ago, they fall under a spell none had seen coming but all have wished for.
It is a truth universally acknowledged (not to quote a very well-known favorite classic of mine or anything…), that my heart is forever young and feeds on the magical thrill of falling in love all over again. Time and again. It never gets old; something we can all relate to, non? 😉
I stop short in the kitchen’s doorway, inwardly groaning. Aw, man. Zac and Magali are making out like teenagers, hogging the counter space and access to the stove. Not that crap-tasting instant coffee made from a pot of boiling water is worth all that much, but still.
With two couples madly in love living here for now, Leo’s place is no longer a quack farm but a remake of the Love Boat. “Hey, you two,” I say to Zac and Magali, eliciting zero reaction. “Mind if I step in for a minute?” I ask drily. “You’re standing between me and coffee and that might be hazardous to your health,” I say only half-jesting.
Le blurb coming up soon.

Bits & Pieces
Warning: This site is a word in progress…
Heard one particularly bright morning in Liam’s condo : “Éolie, you’ll have to be the one to stop when you’ve had your fill, because … I won’t. I want you bad.” I shake my head. This might kill me. “I promised as slow as you need, and you’re still recovering—”
“It’s morning now. And I’ve had a pretty good night’s sleep. The first since the storm. I don’t need slow right now. I need you.”
“You sure?” My eyes are fixed on hers, burning my message across the room. Éolie’s gaze now trapped in mine, I slowly straighten.
Heard more than once on the hospital grapevine : “You won’t say that once you meet Docteur Zac Handsome di Fiori, Magali. Nothing is worth being late if it’s for him. He’s to die for.”
